Some people will call or email their Parish (most likely in the month of December) asking to renew their licence early.
Because licences cannot officially be renewed in POODL until January 1st, you and your Parish must keep all early paper applications until January 1st.
As soon as possible after Janurary 1st, follow the steps in Renewing a licence to update early applications.
Important: You must tell all dog owners who want to renew early that they may still receive an automated email at the beginning of January asking them to renew their licence. Please reassure them that this is just an automated email, that their early renewal will be processed and that they should not receive any more than one renewal reminder.
